The month since our October 5 review: the ads and the new residential reel, Instagram and Facebook, both Google Business Profiles, where residential cleaning stands ten weeks after the page went live, and what the estimator has brought in. Ad and social figures cover October 3 to November 1, 2026.
One campaign ran all month, General Promo · Whistler +17km at $10 a day, and every dollar of it went to customers. On October 30 its two host ads made way for the new residential estimator reel, so the budget now goes entirely to homes. Spend came to $297.08 for 291 clicks, 216 of them through to the website.

| Click-through rate | 0.94% | 0.88% | ▼ 6% |
| Post engagements | 164 | 1,115 | ▲ 580% |
Last month's account total of $317.06 included the hiring ad, which took $162.16 of it between September 10 and 25, so the table compares the customer campaign with itself. With the whole budget behind it this month, impressions rose 61%, from 20,464 to 33,035, and link clicks to the website rose 61%, from 134 to 216.
The cost per click on that campaign moved from $0.81 to $1.02. Most of that is the autumn auction, with the cost of reaching a thousand people up 19%. The click-through rate also eased a little, with the same Whistler audience seeing the ads 3.3 times each this month, which is where a fresh creative like the reel earns its place.
Post engagements rose from 164 to 1,115, and 875 of them came from the reel in its first three days.
General Promo · Whistler +17km, $10 a day. A tall version in Stories and Reels, the 4:5 version in the feeds.

Since it went live, October 30 to November 2:
Four days in, the opening is doing its job. The reel reached 2,340 people in Whistler, and 1,353 times someone watched at least three seconds. 182 stayed for fifteen seconds or more, long enough to see a real price come up on the estimator, and 78 watched to the end. Most of it ran in the Instagram and Facebook feeds, then Explore, Reels and Stories.
Meta spends the first week or so learning who responds, so the clicks through to the residential page are the number to judge it on at the next review. From today, the estimator requests that come from people who saw the reel are counted too.
The two host ads, the original and Housekeeping V2, are paused rather than deleted. The reel also went out on Summit's own Instagram and Facebook on October 30, and it runs in stories every other day.
Posting held at one every three days, 11 posts in the window including the reel, each mirrored to Facebook, and the round is booked through to December 13. On October 29 the remaining posts were rewritten to the new brand voice guide. Almost all of the account's reach comes from the ads, so the figures below are the posts themselves.

Nearly three times the views of last October, 178 against 65, and 7 visits to the website where last October sent none. October is quieter than September every year, and last year views fell 18% between the two; this year they held almost level, down 5%. Profile figures cover October 1 to 30, the most recent 30 days Google has finished counting.

10 reviews at 4.6 stars. Since October 8, Jobber sends each customer a Google review request for this profile when their invoice is paid, by email and text, so every new residential customer now gets the ask without anyone having to remember it.
Still first in Google Maps for “vacation rental cleaning whistler”, checked again on November 2. It is also the Summit profile Google shows for the residential searches, and it has climbed on all three since October 4 (section 5). It drew 59 views and 36 direction requests in October.

The name. Google leans heavily on the words in a business name when it decides which profiles to show for a local search, and this profile is named for exactly what people type.
The word “cleaning” in its name is also the likely reason Google shows it, rather than the main profile, to people searching for house cleaning, and it is the one climbing in section 5.
The residential page went live on August 19 and the estimator joined it on September 1. Since October 30 the ads point at it too. This is where the three channels stand, checked again from Whistler on November 2.
For “residential house cleaning Whistler”, ChatGPT put Summit at the top of its list, in the residential page's own words.
The residential page now averages position 9.4 on Google, up from 10.7 in September.
For “residential cleaning whistler”, up from 8th on October 4, and higher on both house cleaning searches too.
The same two searches as in August and October, asked in ChatGPT from Whistler.

Google has moved the page up every month since it went live, from an average position of 19 in its first weeks to 9.4 in October, inside the top ten. Since October 30 the ads send people to the same page.
Still the channel that matters most for a local service, because it is where the call and directions buttons live.

Since the estimator went live, 13 people have priced a clean on it, building 15 estimates between them, and four are now booked customers, the newest a deep clean from an October 13 estimate. Every estimate lands in Jobber as a request with the quote already written, so the follow-up is a conversation rather than data entry.
| Home | Booked | Estimate built |
|---|---|---|
| 2 bed, 2 bath townhouse | One-off clean | Sep 4 |
| 5 bed, 3 bath house, 12 extras | One-off clean | Sep 4 |
| A homeowner who built two estimates | Monthly cleans | Sep 10 |
| 2 bed, 2 bath condo | Deep clean | Oct 13 |
| Home | Clean | Date | Their estimate |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bed, 2 bath condo, a second home | One-off clean, 2 extras | Oct 5 | $368 to $439 |
| 2 bed, 2 bath condo, a vacation property | Deep clean | Oct 13 | $570 to $748 |
| 4 bed townhouse, staff housing, 2 rooms to clean | One-off clean, 3 extras | Nov 2 | $307 to $365 |
Three estimates in four weeks, each one a real home with a real number. The October 13 deep clean came with a note that the owner wants monthly cleans from December, and the November 2 enquiry, staff housing for a local club, asked for a price on a second apartment in Cheakamus as well.
The changes agreed on October 5 are working on live requests. Each quote now carries the customer's preferred day in its title, for example “Preferred: Wed, Nov 4”, so the booking can be planned straight from the request.
What has been built and switched on from the call, with links to each.
Folds in half and stands on the counter. Kelvin's two changes are in: "This property was proudly cleaned by" above the logo, so guests know Summit is the cleaning service, and "Scan for local discounts and recommendations". One QR code for a review, a private note or a tip, and the print file is on the same page.
Built in the order agreed on October 29: the hero video at the top, the estimator straight underneath, then the About Us film. The top section is softened with rounded corners, rounded buttons and the estimator on a rounded panel, as a patch rather than a redesign.
The estimator reel replaced the two host ads on October 30, at the same $10 a day. It also went up on Instagram and Facebook as a reel and a story, with the story repeating every other day. Placements that cut off text, such as Marketplace, are switched off, so every version shows in full. See both versions ↗
Finished with Kelvin's answers on every point that was still open, and the posts from October 29 onwards are written to it. Open the guide ↗
The animated signature is set up on hello@, and Kelvin, Kirsty, payments and housing each have their own version with a copy button and the steps for Gmail.
Kirsty's message for new followers is agreed, and it can sit as a saved reply in the Instagram inbox so it goes out in a couple of taps.
Kelvin's two changes are in (section 7). Kirsty's thoughts are the last step. Before the print run, we confirm what the QR code opens, then print one to check it stands well.
Kirsty's idea from yesterday: the New Property Request form moves into the portal and appears straight after the client signs the service agreement. Everything the portal already holds (name, company, property address, email, bedrooms and bathrooms) shows filled in, so the client only answers what is new, and a reminder goes out if it is not finished. The answers then sit in one place, ready for setting the property up in Resort Cleaning. Two things to settle on the call: how often the reminders should go, and whether door codes should be collected in the portal or kept to a separate message.
Set up: the account is in place with billing, and the residential campaign is built with the wording you approved, $10 a day, Whistler only, alongside Meta at $10 a day (about $610 a month for both). It is in Google's review now and goes live once the ads are approved, usually within a day, so the first results can be part of the next review.
Section 7 shows the homepage with the video order agreed on October 29 and a softer, rounded top section. Is that the direction you had in mind before I carry it through the rest of the site?
Once the wording for the linen policy, the linen purchase option and the holiday surcharge is ready, I will add all three, along with separate company name and client name fields.
