1Overall Marketing Spend

Total spend across both platforms is $1,174.64. We agreed to bring this down to around $1,200, and it has come in just under that, so it is sitting exactly where we wanted it.

The read

Spend has come down as agreed and the money that is still going out is working just as hard: a blended $1.27 a click across both platforms, with 927 clicks through to the site over the thirty days. The budget sits at roughly a third on Meta and two thirds on Google, which is the balance that has been working, and bin rentals and material delivery remain the two services carrying the most of it.

2Facebook & Instagram Ads

Meta continues to be the cheapest traffic in the account, at 48 cents a click, and it sent 324 people through to the website over the period.

The read

Both of the services you asked us to push hardest are running well and running cheaply. Bin rental is delivering clicks at 49 cents and material delivery at 47 cents, and between them they put 324 visits on the site. Bin rental is carrying the larger share of the budget at 63%, which is where you wanted it.

Reach across the two campaigns was 14,612 people off 57,860 impressions, so the ads are landing in front of a good spread of the local audience rather than the same few people repeatedly.

Each service runs a handful of creatives on the same copy, and Meta puts the budget behind whichever image is working best rather than splitting it evenly, so the strongest ad gets the most of the run.

3Google Ads

Google carries the larger share of the budget and the ads were seen 30,111 times over the period.

Campaigns to note

Bin rentals remain the core Google focus. The main bin-rental term is competitive, so the cost per click runs higher there, but this is exactly where the demand is and it is the service you asked us to lead with. It now pairs with the Pika Bin Rentals Google profile below, which is drawing steady activity of its own.

Holiday light installation is already running. It brought 20 clicks at $2.23 each, which is people beginning their research well ahead of the season. Volumes are still low this early, but it is a good sign for the autumn.

The main Pika Landscapes profile carries the activity, with 383 views and 29 clicks through to the site off a 4.9 rating across 34 reviews. The bin rentals profile has picked up its first two reviews and is already producing 46 direction requests, more than the main profile, which is people navigating to collect or check a bin rather than browsing.

The Christmas lights profile is quietly pulling 110 views and 33 direction requests already, so the interest is there well ahead of the season. A few reviews on it before the autumn would put it in the same position as the bin rentals profile.

5The Website

The move is done. pikalandscapes.com has been running on the new hosting since 23 July, and both the plain and www versions of the address now serve it.

What changed

Every page, all three forms, the Google reviews section and the contact map came across, and the old web addresses still work, so nothing that was linked or ranking was lost. Alongside the move we rewrote the page titles and descriptions, which were missing entirely on several of the most important pages, including landscape design and build and landscape maintenance. Analytics is running and recording as before.

The forms have been confirmed working end to end by both of you, with design and maintenance enquiries landing at quotes@ and bin enquiries at bins@, so every enquiry now comes straight to you.

6Website SEO Health

Alongside the account work above, we ran a full independent technical review of the new site this week, the same kind of health check search engines and AI assistants use to judge how easy a site is to read and trust.

Moving onto the new hosting started slightly lower, at 34, which is normal: a few technical basics like the sitemap need to be rebuilt fresh on a new platform. This week's full review closed that gap and then some, taking the site to 77 today, all through backend technical work with nothing changed on the pages themselves.

7What We've Done
1

Fixed the technical foundation

Closed a duplicate-hosting gap between the plain and www addresses, and repaired the structured data Google and AI assistants read directly to understand who Pika is and what you offer.

2

Faster pages, organised photos

Improved page loading efficiency and renamed the full photo library with clear, descriptive names in place of the generic ones left over from the old system.

3

Next: on-page content, with your sign-off

The one piece left is written detail on a handful of pages. That is customer-facing wording, so it needs your and Adam’s approval. We will put together a short report on that separately.

8Discussion & Next Steps
1

Where the budget sits from here

Spend is now $1,174.64 over thirty days, against the $1,200 we agreed, so it is landing where we wanted it. I am setting the budgets to hold at that level as the steady state rather than letting them drift, with bin rentals and material delivery kept as the two priorities. Worth confirming that is the number you want to sit at through the autumn.

2

Reviews on the two newer profiles

The bin rentals profile has picked up its first two reviews and is already pulling 46 direction requests a month with almost nothing behind it. A handful of reviews on the Christmas lights profile before the season would put it in the same position, and lights searches are already running. Both review links are in the document.

3

Timing on holiday light installation

Search demand is already showing on Google (20 clicks this early) and the Christmas Lights profile is pulling 110 views with no ads behind it at all yet. There is currently no Meta campaign for this service. Worth deciding on the call when you want us to start pushing it harder and get a Meta campaign live, so creative and budget are ready ahead of the season.
